SIGNING OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE NATIONAL AGENCY FOR DISABLED PEOPLE AND DJIBAH SEAFOOD COMPANY SARL

novembre 15, 2022DJIBAH Seafoods Company, the Djiboutian factory specializing in the exploitation, processing, and packaging of seafood products, and Belayab Foods & Lewis Retails have just signed a memorandum of understanding in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, which provides for the export of Djiboutian seafood to the Ethiopian market.
This memorandum was signed by the CEO of DJIBAH Seafoods, Mr. Eleyeh Issa Goudi, and the CEO of Belayab Foods and Lewis Retails, Mr. Admasu Yitagesu.
The signing ceremony took place at the Djibouti Embassy in Addis Ababa in the presence of a representative from the national company Air Djibouti, which will ensure the air transport of goods to Ethiopia.
Inaugurated in 2019 by President Ismail Omar Guelleh, DJIBAH Seafoods already exports its products to Europe, the United States, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, and the Far East.
This memorandum of understanding signed with Lewis Retails aligns with the vision of the CEO of DJIBAH Seafoods, Eleyeh Issa Goudi, who aims to not only increase the company’s export volume but also develop a brand image under the « Made in Djibouti » label.
It should be noted that the Republic of Djibouti has a significant fishery potential estimated at around 48,000 tons, of which 9,300 tons are composed of high-value marine species.
